Maximale protectie en optimaal comfort De Arai MX-V off-road helm biedt maximale protectie en optimaal comfort zonder praktische eigenschappen uit het oog te verliezen. Zowel het interieur, de wangstukken en de nekrol zijn eenvoudig uitneembaar en wasbaar. Uiteraard zijn deze gemaakt van het dry-cool materiaal, voor nog meer comfort. De wangstukken zijn voorzien van het Emergency Release system. Daarnaast heeft de MX-V rubber inserts in de vizieropening, die zorgen dat de crossbril perfect op zijn plaats blijft. Een nieuw ontworpen klep minimaliseert zowel het liften als de vervuiling van de helm. Pasvorm en veiligheid zijn compromisloze eisen bij Arai. Daarom zijn er drie maten buitenschalen, die zijn vervaardigt volgens de extreem sterke en vormvaste Complex Laminate Construction met Superfiber. De EPS binnenschaal zorgt voor maximale absorptie van een impact doordat deze is opgebouwd uit meerdere lagen met diverse dichtheden. Uiteraard voldoet de nieuwe schaal aan het Arai R75 concept, een sterkere, rondere en gladde buitenschaal. Om dezelfde reden is het kinstuk kort gehouden en zijn spoilers en de klep zo ontwikkeld dat ze bij een stevige impact afbreken. Het ventilatiesysteem van de MX-V is zeer uitgebreid zonder dat dit de sterkte van de helmschaal beïnvloed. Het rooster in het kinstuk is aan de buitenzijde bevestigd en zo ontwikkeld dat het ook bij inslaande stenen blijft zitten en niet naar binnen schiet. Daarnaast is deze eenvoudig te demonteren en schoon te maken.
